Translating the Bible
Success in a Bible translation project is most likely to be achieved by trained members of the local language community working as a team together with appropriate technical assistance.
SIL cooperates in such projects by
- Developing written, video, and computer-based resources,
- Providing technical personnel to help on the team,
- Interfacing with Bible translation organizations, national and international.
