How can I get involved?
How are we funded?
Resources for the work of SIL are provided primarily by individuals and organizations interested in their work. In addition, for many of its larger projects, SIL seeks grants from a variety of other sources, both public and private. Less than one percent of its income derives from any sort of government source.
How does one donate to SIL?
Contributions to SIL may be designated for the SIL Literacy Fund or the Ken Pike Endowment Fund, or they may be undesignated, in which case they will be used where there is the most need. All contributions are tax deductible.

You can support SIL by making a contribution online. Making a donation is fast, easy, and secure, and you will receive an acknowledgement for your tax records. Please note: We use a nonprofit service to process our credit card transactions. LOC IND CH ORG is the name that will appear on your credit card statement, not SIL International. Using a third party helps us keep our costs low and allows us to spend more time and money on our programs. |

Or you may choose to mail a check. Checks should be payable to SIL International (please include the name of the specific fund if you have a preference) and sent to: SIL International |
Federal and Military Employees: Please observe that we participate in the Combined Federal Campaign under our DBA “Literacy for the World.” Our campaign number is 1425.
