Kenneth L. Pike (1912–2000)

Ken Pike, whose life spanned most of the 20th century, described his own life as "A linguistic pilgrimage" and "[A] pilgrimage in mission." This web site is a feature of the linguistic organization, SIL International, which grew under his leadership as its first President (1942–1979) and then President Emeritus (1979–2000).
