Product Overview: Data Entry
Enter data in the Data Notebook as “Event” or “Analysis Entries.” The Data Notebook provides pre-set fields to enhance the validity of your fieldnotes (Title, Date, Source, Location, etc.)
Data Entry View
Your main working page, the Data Entry view, displays pre-set fields that suggest basic information to accompany a field note. You can also create your own fields and arrange where they appear on the view.
Sub-Entries
Organize extended events, interviews and long entries in hierarchies with the sub-entry feature of the Data Notebook.
Categorize Entries
The Outline of Cultural Materials (OCM) from Human Relations Area Files, Inc. is provided with the Data Notebook. Code your data using this comprehensive topical list or create your own topical coding system.
