Appendix I
In the following song there are usually other harmonies that I have not recorded. The verses change slightly each time, and all are not agreed on what the tune is. As with all the songs in this appendix, this song is sung with daygas and the gurgum. This melody uses eight tones, which is rather unusual for the Kera. It is a popular song, though, and in the Koupor church it is sung during the collection. There are several verses, of which two are recorded below. All of the verses are very similar, except for a change of person and the corresponding grammatical changes.
