Arawá Family Arawá is a small family of languages spoken in southwestern Amazonia, in the areas of the Purus and Juruá Rivers. The majority of the groups are in the Brazilian state of Amazonas, but Kulina is also spoken in the state of Acre, and in Peru. No relationship with other language familes has been demonstrated.
