Containing nearly 8,000 French and English linguistic terms, this on-line glossary lists the equivalent(s) in the other language. Lexical and semantic relationships are also displayed for many of the terms. Many are also indexed to major linguistic dictionaries and major works that represent specific domains or schools of thought in each language.

SIL to present symposium on Bantu languages

"Multilingualism: challenges and opportunities" is the theme of the 2008 AILA Conference (Association Internationale de Linguistique Appliquée) to be held in Essen, Germany on 24-29 August. SIL linguists will present new software tools for analyzing Bantu languages in Africa at this 15th World Congress of Applied Linguistics.
